Marbles!
Marbles!
I want to share with you something my wife and I do every Saturday.
On average, people live about seventy-five years. If you multiply 75 times X 52 weeks in a year it equals 3,900 Saturdays in a lifetime,
Now take a marble for every Saturday
Take 75 minus your age, say 40 = 35 X 52 = 1,400
I have approximately 1,352 Saturdays left in my lifetime......
So I got a large container and placed the marbles I have left in my life.
I bought the marbles about 3 years ago.
Every Saturday my wife and I walk out to our dock, we say a prayer and reminisce about what a great week we had. I then throw the marble into the lake. I found by watching the marbles diminish I focus more on the really important things in life.
There is nothing like watching your time here on earth run out to help get your priorities straight. I’m much better at remembering birthdays, anniversaries and focusing in on the really important things. People get so fixated on making a living, they forget to make a life.
Realize how precious life is. Enjoy......
Yes, I’m losing my marbles!
