Speaking Out

The Headlines are Shocking, Realty Is troubling, but there is Hope.

During a time when politicians, athletes and role models are making headlines for substance abuse, assault, deception and our economic system is in peril, there is a program that is empowering students to make positive life choices - Champion of Choices, a Non Profit 501(c)(3) Organization.

The Champion of Choices program focuses on many timely and significant challenges that students of all ages experience daily including: peer pressure, substance abuse, suicide, bullying, choosing the right friends and goal setting. During a live, 60 min. full production presentation, Marc Mero presents a powerful, candid and moving message that encourages students to make meaningful choices and pursue their passions. His personal and entertaining stories about his own positive and negative choices inspire students to choose to be champions.

Many students can relate to Marc’s story about growing up in a broken family and dreaming of a better future. Marc’s early athletic successes were sidelined during years of rebellion, substance abuse and bad choices. Even as he was gaining success and fame as a professional wrestler, Marc continued to make choices that negatively impacted his personal life and career. Following a series of personal tragedies including the loss of more than 30 of his friends & family members and while reflecting on his life’s accomplishments and hardships, Marc was compelled to create a program that would allow him to reach out to students and encourage them to live compassionate, fulfilling lives.

Marc has presented over 200 full-production presentations at schools, corporations, churches, and prisons. Marc’s message is powerful and entertaining, but ultimately, it is intended to inspire students to make the right choices and dream big. Please call or email us to schedule a presentation.
